Cole Triumphs in Outstanding Pitcher Award Voting Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 25-year-old David Cole of the Durham Rapiers put together a good year in 2021 for such a young player. Cole was named today as the winner of the USSL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Cole crafted an impressive 9-8 record and a 3.38 ERA. In 154.1 innings he allowed 135 hits, struck out 153, and walked 56. Allen Yohemas of the Irving Blue Sox finished second in voting, while César Galló of the Virginia Beach Deuces finished third. |
