Injury Update for Westwood, Tanner Sunday, September 19th, 2021 John Tanner will have to wait a while longer. The Westwood reliever was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4-5 months with a torn back muscle. The injury has kept him off the field since 09/15/2021. Though Tanner had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This season Tanner has nailed down no saves with 12 strikeouts in 10.1 innings. He is credited with 1 win and no losses and has a 6.97 earned run average. |
