Moreno Earns August's Top Batter Prize in SAA Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 When Héctor Moreno stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the USSL Double A Batter of the Month award. The young Glendale catcher posted a .375 batting average with 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 15 runs. Moreno also worked pitchers for 12 walks to post a .463 on-base percentage. This season Moreno has hit 20 home runs and posted a .249 batting average. |
