Seawolves Capture Silver AA Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 Those expecting a dogfight to the finish in the Silver AA this year got quite the opposite - the Long Island Seawolves have easily clinched the division crown. "When you look at how far we are ahead, it might look like it was an easy year, but it didn't feel that way for us," said catcher Roy Clay. "A of blood, sweat and tears has gone into making us champs of the Silver AA." The club's record stands currently at 66-25 and no longer being able to be caught, they have cinched up a 2nd division title for the franchise. Team manager Matt Helsley said his club will "take some time to celebrate" the division title, but then "it's right back to work." |
