Hamilton Sharp, Whitewashes Deuces Saturday, August 14th, 2021 In an impressive outing, Jason Hamilton whitewashed the Virginia Beach Deuces 6-0. "I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Hamilton, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion. "It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took." The Athletic Club KC Academy hurler held Virginia Beach scoreless, allowed 6 hits, chalked up 4 strikeouts and yielded no walks. To date this season Hamilton is 9-8 with 20 starts and an ERA of 4.13 with 91 strikeouts in 133 innings. |
