USSL Double A #1 Hurler is Simmons Sunday, August 1st, 2021 Over the past month Frank Simmons has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Double A. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Helena Grizzlies posted 4-0 mark and a 1.59 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 34 innings, permitted 20 hits and fanned 20 batters. His record this season is 8-3 in 14 starts and Simmons has a 4.18 ERA. |
