Helena's Flores Gets SAA Player of the Week Monday, July 19th, 2021 Rufo Flores burst onto the USSL Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie left fielder for Helena garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .480 (12-for-25) with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs last week. This season Flores has banged out 44 hits in 145 at-bats for a .303 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .360 pace and his totals also include 30 RBIs and 20 runs scored. |
