Granados Sparkles, Blanks Ft. Polk South Monday, June 7th, 2021 Gonzalo Granados of the Battle Ground Aeros was on fire against Ft. Polk South. He shut them down 7-0 on 6 hits and no runs with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Granados said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that." This year Granados has compiled a 4-4 record with a 3.55 ERA in 8 starts. |
