M3L Double A Best Pitcher Chosen Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 The Salem clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Travis Carson will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2021 M3L Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Carson made 27 starts this year, winning 15 and losing 4. He threw 213.1 innings, fanned 143, allowed 179 hits and 57 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .223 average as he logged an impressive 2.49 ERA. Shawn Arnold of the San Antonio BC finished second in voting, while Lester Sullivan of the San Antonio BC finished third. |
