Injury Forces Deleón Out of Baseball Friday, August 20th, 2021 The day has come for Orlando Deleón to call it a career. The Ellenburg center fielder, because of a concussion, has been out of action for a while. Now, he has decided to retire from baseball. He made it official in a brief appearance to reporters. "I was told I've got an outside shot at playing again," he said. "But I've decided to pursue other options at this time." Best of luck to Deleón. The team will surely miss him. Deleón is hitting .306 in 2021 with 35 RBIs and 9 home runs. |
