3L's Top Rookie Crowned Monday, October 25th, 2021 Today the Third League announced that Montana right fielder Steve Riggs is the winner of the 2021 Newcomer of the Year Award. He finished the regular season with a .254 batting average, 20 doubles, no triples and 26 home runs. Riggs also had 63 RBIs and scored 64 times. Jorge Mojica of the Seattle Aviators finished second in voting, while Charles Mathes of the D.C. Divided finished third. |
