3L Player of the Week Named Monday, September 20th, 2021 Tanyu Kimura must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .611 clip, then the Seattle left fielder finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the 3L Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Kimura batted .611 (11-for-18) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. This year Kimura has batted at a .295 pace with 98 hits, 7 home runs, 51 RBIs and scored 47 times. |
