Manning to Retire, May Get Into Broadcasting Saturday, October 30th, 2021 New Amsterdam first baseman Bryan Manning says he intends to retire from playing baseball and may begin a career in the broadcast booth. "I haven't decided for sure what I'm going to do next, but the idea definitely intrigues me," said Bryan. Coaches and teammates have always considered Manning to be highly intelligent and articulate. "He's a smart guy and he knows a lot about the game," said Republics bench coach Curt Proctor. "He would do very well as a broadcaster." |
