Gonzáles Gets Award for Relief Work Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 He may only be 23, but Robinson Gonzáles of the Chicago Hawks has already established himself as an elite United States Silver League reliever. The reliever was today named the Silver League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2021. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 21 saves in 43 relief appearances an 47 strikeouts in 46.1 innings. He had a record of 7-6 to go with his 2.53 ERA. Myron Snow of the Capital District Red Knights finished second in voting, while Kevin Woods of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished third. |
