SL's Top Player Named Monday, August 30th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Silver League, but last week David Hubbard of the Vancouver Grey Wolves reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Hubbard rocked opposing pitching for a .471 average (8-for-17), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. Hubbard is hitting .281 for the season with 13 home runs, 51 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 331 at-bats and played in 90 games. |
