Troughton Holds Bruins Scoreless Sunday, August 29th, 2021 Provo hurler Jason Troughton put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Bellevue Bruins with a 1-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 6 hits with 9 strikeouts and no walks to pick up the win. The opposing manager told reporters after the game, "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball." Thus far this season, Troughton has worked 159 innings with 153 strikeouts en route to a 8-8 record and a 2.49 ERA. |
