3A Player of the Week Awarded Monday, May 31st, 2021 21-year-old José Ramos made a few Kennesaw headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 19 at-bats to put up a .474 average. Ramos collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs. So far this season Ramos has gotten 27 hits in 98 at-bats for a .276 batting average with 1 home run. His stats include 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has played in 23 games. |
