Brown Fashions Shutout Against Bulls Monday, August 23rd, 2021 Michael Brown of the Columbia River Rats just toyed with the Belleville Bulls today, blanking them 8-0. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 1-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Brown said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do." This year Brown has worked 132.2 innings with 98 strikeouts en route to a 10-4 record and 2.17 ERA. |
