USSL Double A's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 3rd, 2020 The USSL Double A has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Omar Gutiérrez, center fielder of the Durham Rapiers. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .450 pace to win the award. Gutiérrez went 9-for-20 for the week, totaled 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 7 times. In 72 games Gutiérrez is hitting .335 this season with 90 hits, 15 home runs, 64 RBIs, 46 walks, .433 OBP and has scored 52 runs. |
