Thunder Hawks Blank Sonics, Neal Wins Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 In a knockout performance, Larry Neal beat the Sonics 3-0 with an impressive 4-hit shutout. The Thunder Hawks hurler finished with 3 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. Neal told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working... it don't get any better than this." The Sonics manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best... and their guy was." Looking at his season stats, Neal has won 3 and lost 2, collecting 54 strikeouts and 20 walks in 63.2 innings with a 2.26 ERA. |
