O'Brien Goes 5-for-5 Against Battle Ground Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 Jack O'Brien really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Prodigy Ballpark, the St. Albert first baseman blistered the Battle Ground Aeros for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 6-5 victory. "O'Brien was too tough to get out today," the Aeros skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jack O'Brien hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ming-jiang Wu in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Rex Hood in the 9th. This year O'Brien has hit at a .294 pace and produced 32 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 24 runs. |
