Great Day for Salazar -- 5 Hits Sunday, August 9th, 2020 26-year-old San Bernardino catcher Jorge Salazar had a big day with the bat at The Igloo today against the Billings Polar Bears. He went 5-for-5 and led the Grasshoppers to a 6-1 triumph over them. Jorge Salazar singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off José Rico in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Salazar currently has a .266 batting average with 63 hits, 8 homers, 36 RBIs, 30 runs scored and a .337 OBP. |
