But they can't, so the good hitters get the big bucks. John Cossey showed how it's done as he went 5 for 5 against the Calgary Lynx and helped the Royse City Targaryens beat them 15-1. The manager for the Lynx told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Cossey keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. John Cossey singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 6th. So far this year, Cossey is batting .344 with 1 home run and 12 RBIs. |
