SAAA's Top Pitcher is Oanta Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2020 has been presented and the USSL Triple A winner is Alin Oanta of Phoenix. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Oanta. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Hotspur Reserves star told reporters. Oanta excelled with an impressive 14-5 record in 26 starts. In 177 innings he yielded 155 hits and 79 walks, while striking out 182 and compiling a fine 3.20 ERA. José Granados of the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves finished second in voting, while Cory Sanders of the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves finished third. |
