Reed Grabs SL Reliever of the Year Award Monday, October 5th, 2020 At the age of 25, Dave Reed says he still has a lot to learn about life in United States Silver League. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Richardson City Thundercats reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2020 Silver League Reliever of the Year Award. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Highland Beach, Florida native said. For the season, Reed had 26 saves in 61 relief appearances, which totaled 70.1. He fanned 85 betters, while walking 18 and put up a record of 7-2 to go with his 0.90 ERA. Augusto Dávila of the Las Vegas Flamingos finished second in voting, while António Lucero of the Richardson City Thundercats finished third. |
