Yen Suspended, Out 2 Games Monday, June 22nd, 2020 Galesburg's Yun Yen has been given a 2-game suspension for his outburst following an ejection in a recent game with the Syracuse Storm at Galesburg Field. He was called out on a third strike by the plate umpire and halted the game to argue about it. The disgusted Yen slowly walked back to the dugout with bat in hand, but suddenly turned around and headed toward the umpire. He was stopped by the on-deck hitter and third base coach as his manager continued to argue the call. A moment later, Yen was ejected. Yen is currently batting .340 with 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 55 hits in 162 at-bats. |
