Player of the Week: Ramos of the Storm Monday, August 17th, 2020 It was announced today by the USPL Single A that Syracuse first baseman Mario Ramos had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Syracuse first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .389 average (7-for-18) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Ramos has hit at a .287 pace and produced 40 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 45 runs. |
