Wild Card Clinched by Phoenix Friday, September 4th, 2020 Those who like late-season drama have no doubt enjoyed watching the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 this season. The Silver A club today wrapped up a wild card victory, with precious little time to spare in the season. "Better late than never right? I don't think our team ever stopped believing we'd make the playoffs," said shortstop Edgar Cantú. The team's 53-42 record will see them off to the postseason, with a chance to win the 1st USSL Single A championship in franchise history. |
