Phoenix's Cantú Snags August Batting Title Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 Edgar Cantú put together a good August to earn the USSL Single A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Phoenix officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Hotspur U-21 shortstop posted a .533 batting average with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 18 runs scored. In 67 games this year Cantú has posted a .328 average and put up these numbers: 5 home runs, 28 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
