Miles Goes on Rampage Against Jets Saturday, August 15th, 2020 At Alameda Field William Miles was the King of Swing today in the 4-3 win over the Jets. The Alameda second baseman stepped into the batter's box 7 times against the Kennesaw and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 7! It does wonders for your batting average, too." William Miles singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and grounded out in the 14th. This season Miles is hitting at a .278 pace with 6 home runs, 46 RBIs and has scored 35 times. |
