Payne Receives Updated Diagnosis Thursday, September 24th, 2020 The injury that has kept Rick Payne out of action since 09/21/2020 will keep him out a while longer. Atlanta Smoke officials made the announcement this afternoon. They said that Payne is expected to miss at least 4 months with a torn rotator cuff. Up to this point in the season, Payne has put up these stats: 58 relief appearances, 4 saves, 71.2 IP, 48 strikeouts and 2.64 ERA. His won-lost record is 1-4 with the opposition is hitting .231 against him. |
