Bowties Shut out Corkscrews, Henry Winner Saturday, September 12th, 2020 In an impressive mound performance, Chester Henry of the Buckhead Bowties checked the Champaign Corkscrews on a 3-hitter and held them scoreless. "He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," said the Champaign manager. "Henry kept us confused the whole game." The Buckhead hurler rang up 6 strikeouts and issued 4 walks in his 1-0 shutout victory. In 23 starts this season Henry has fashioned a 9-4 record and a 2.87 ERA. |
