Athletic Club KC Blank California, Hall Winner Sunday, August 30th, 2020 Before the game Vincent Hall liked his chances and his instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing the Athletic Club KC pitcher whitewashed the California Oceanliners 7-0. Hall said in the clubhouse afterward, "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day. My control was awesome. I could throw my curveball even when I was behind in the count." The Athletic Club KC starter held California scoreless, giving up 4 hits while registering 6 strikeouts and issuing 2 walks. "We didn't have very many good at-bats," the Oceanliners manager said in his postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose." On his stats sheet for the year Hall shows a 7-10 record, 21 starts, 151.2 innings, 145 strikeouts and a 2.73 ERA. |
