Yohemas Chosen UAA's Best Pitcher Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 The Irving clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Allen Yohemas will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2019 USPL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Yohemas made 24 starts this year, winning 13 and losing 5. He threw 154.2 innings, fanned 147, allowed 124 hits and 70 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .221 average as he logged an impressive 2.85 ERA.Michael Logan of the Durham Rapiers finished second in voting, while Don Miller of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished third. |
