Players Suspended in Rapiers-Fur Traders Donnybrook Saturday, August 10th, 2019 Evan Nelson of the Durham Rapiers and Steve Adkins of the Tacoma Fur Traders received official notice today from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended 6 games for their roles in the on-field disturbance in a recent game at Rapiers Ballpark. Nelson on the season is batting .311 with 3 home runs. His totals include 28 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has played in 68 games. So far this year Adkins has delivered 9 saves. In 26 relief appearances he has 14 strikeouts in 20 innings with a 5.85 ERA and a 1-2 won-lost mark. |
