Newell Socks it to Rails, Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 Irving center fielder Dennis Newell really sparkled with the bat today against the Rails. He led the Blue Sox to a 12-6 win over Richland by going 5-for-7. Dennis Newell singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th, singled in the 10th, grounded out in the 12th, flied out in the 14th and walked in the 15th. For the season Newell is hitting .500, batted in 14 runs with 3 home runs and 18 runs scored. |
