Clark Befuddles Virginia Beach Friday, July 19th, 2019 Will Clark was sneaky fast, on the mark and hard to hit today. He blanked the Virginia Beach Deuces 3-0 on 4 hits and had 2 walks and 10 strikeouts. "You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," the Virginia Beach skipper told reporters after the shutout loss to the Lancaster Farmers. "He just had a real deceptive fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes." To date Clark is 2-6 in 10 starts with a 5.97 ERA and has 49 strikeouts in 57.1 innings. |
