Gómez and Lowery Suspended 7 Games Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 Jorge Gómez of Richardson City and Paul Lowery of Capital District have been sanctioned by the league office for causing the ruckus at The Thunder Dome yesterday. Both players have been given 7-game suspensions for instigating the fight and subsequent free-for-all. Batting .282 to date, Gómez has 11 home runs and 36 RBIs. To this point in the season, Lowery has put up these figures: 4-9 record, no relief appearances with 91 innings, no saves, 63 strikeouts, 33 walks and a 3.96 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .268 batting average. |
