Oaks-Thundercats Trade: Rasmussen for Daugherty Monday, August 5th, 2019 BNN has learned the Oakland Oaks have reportedly worked out a deal with the Richardson City Thundercats. Sources close to the Oaks indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 23-year-old minor league first baseman Randy Daugherty and 26-year-old minor league closer John Keller will be swapped to Oakland with 33-year-old closer Dick Rasmussen heading to Richardson City. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. This season Rasmussen has 15 saves. In 34 relief appearances he has tossed 39 innings, struck out 47 and issued 21 walks with a 1-4 record. The Richardson City reliever has recorded a 2.77 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .203 when he is in the game. |
