He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 4-0 victory over Oakland. He blanked them on a 5-hitter, allowed 4 walks and had 5 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Gordon said. His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again."
