Kato Guns Down Oakland Thursday, August 1st, 2019 Makoto Kato was dynamite today and just blew Oakland away in the 12-0 victory. The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC starter had everything working as he hurled a 5-hit shutout over the Oaks, recording 10 strikeouts and 1 walk. "He was pure nasty out there today. I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing," said the Oakland skipper during his postgame press conference. This season Kato has fanned 86 in 103.1 innings and collected a 7-5 record with a 3.14 ERA. |
