Kirk Crashes 3 HR Against Vancouver Monday, July 29th, 2019 Walter Kirk went on a hitting rampage at San Francisco Grounds today and got membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He walloped three into the stands to pace the Ravenclaws to a 10-1 victory over the Vancouver Grey Wolves. The Wizarding AC right fielder collected 3 hits in 3 at-bats, drove in 3 and scored 3 runs. After his three-home run game he said this to the press: "I have been making solid contact lately, but not getting any lift. Today I got it up in the air and out of the ballpark. I had my home run swing down pat. Got some good pitches to hit, too." Walter Kirk hit a solo-shot off Myron Johnson in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Myron Johnson in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Steve Ward in the 7th. For the year Kirk is hitting .239 with 9 home runs. His stats include 21 runs batted in and 23 runs scored. |
