PL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, September 9th, 2019 20-year-old Bernardo Herrera sent shock waves through United States Premier League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Premier League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Herrera made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .458 average, 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBI. Where the Buckhead Bowties second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Herrera certainly made his mark last week. Thus far this year Herrera is hitting .313 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
