Slugs Shut out by Wilkins Monday, July 8th, 2019 John Wilkins really wowed everybody at the ballpark with his 8-0 shutout victory over Louisville today. The California pitcher mystified the Slugs in a strong performance. He gave up 3 hits and totaled no walks and 10 strikeouts. His manager said, "John had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves. It was something special to watch." In season stats Wilkins shows a 8-3 record in 12 games, 98 innings, 84 strikeouts and a 1.29 ERA. |
