UAA Awards Best Batter Prize to Peterson Monday, August 27th, 2018 So far in his young career, Ron Peterson has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Irving Blue Sox center fielder hit at a torrid .333 clip as he collected 9 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Peterson is batting .311 with 114 hits, 13 home runs, 62 RBIs, 45 walks, .389 OBP and has scored 59 runs. |
