MAA's #1 Player Named Monday, May 28th, 2018 19-year-old Tomás Guillén made a few Belvedere Park headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Guillén collected 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 7 runs. On the year Guillén is hitting .425 with 31 hits, 8 home runs, 33 RBIs, .468 OBP and has scored 17 runs. |
