2018 MAA Top Hitter Trophy Given to Varela Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 The M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award has been picked for 2018 and the winner is Portsmouth first baseman Seth Varela. He finished his outstanding season with a .343 batting average, 156 hits, 39 home runs, 140 RBIs, .416 OBP and 94 runs scored.Juan Jose Díaz of the Portsmouth Coasties finished second in voting, while Jim Vaughan of the Glenburn Baboons finished third. |
