Burgos Blisters St. Albert Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 Álex Burgos really sizzled at the plate in today's 9-7 win over Prodigy. The Virginia Beach first baseman blistered St. Albert for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Burgos was too tough to get out today," the Prodigy skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Álex Burgos singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. Burgos is hitting .303 in 2018 with 53 RBIs and 9 home runs. |
