Manager Flunks in Warwick -- Alomar Canned Thursday, September 13th, 2018 Today the Hunchbacks made an announcement: The era of Marcos Alomar is over in Warwick. After a disappointing season, the club officials sat down with Alomar to discuss their decision to make a change. "It wasn't a surprise to me." Alomar said speaking with reporters. "As a team we did not perform up to people's expectations, nor to my expectations. When that happens, someone has to take the blame. This year, that person was me." In an official statement, the Hunchbacks expressed gratitude for Alomar's efforts, but confirmed the need to look for a different voice in the clubhouse. "We thank Marcos for providing class, professionalism, experience and leadership during his tenure with the club, but believe we need to make this important change to our team's management." |
