League KO's Partisans-Dodos Players with 5-Game Suspensions Monday, September 10th, 2018 Alfonso López of Rappahannock and Thomas Owens of Hialeah have been sanctioned by the league office for causing the ruckus at Nomads Ballpark yesterday. Both players have been given 5-game suspensions for instigating the fight and subsequent free-for-all. This year López has 24 home runs and a .338 batting average. Owens has made 21 starts so far this year and put up a 5-11 won-lost record with a 9.12 ERA. In 98.2 innings he has allowed 150 hits, walked 52 and struck out 81. |
